About Us

Dance Creations Dance Academy was established on February 1998 in Hialeah, Florida, founded by Isis Alonso, under the direction of María Alonso Ramirez both a mother and daughter team. DCDA has provided a superior dance education and discipline in order for dancers to have the ability in achieving their maximum potential. Our instructors and choreographers are exceedingly qualified in their field and are very passionate for the art.

DCDA offers a large variety of dance classes. We strive to teach technique, musicality, strength and grace while also implementing the importance of discipline, dedication, sportsmanship, cooperation and respect for their teachers and dance sisters/brothers. We are extremely proud of all our recognitions and accomplishments, but what we are most proud and passionate about is the indestructible bond and family we’ve built throughout the years of establishment. It is our mission to provide our dancers with a healthy and safe environment in order to reach their full potential in the arts as well as lifelong lessons.

At DCDA everyone is given an opportunity to dance and take part in competition. We can proudly follow the saying “All children are created equal”. We do not host competition auditions. There are no dividing lines amongst recreational and competitive dancers. We are one! We are all unique and special in our own way. As humans and dancers we have so much to offer. This has been our theory for the last 22 years. We are not a team, we are a true family.
